Our Specialized Separation Techniques
Different designs need different separation methods. We master them all.
1. Spot Colour Separation (Vector)
Ideal for logos and solid illustrations. We separate each color into its own layer/channel. We include trapping (choking and spreading) to ensure that even if your press shifts slightly, no white gaps appear between colors.
2. Simulated Process Separation (High-End)
Want to print a photograph or complex artwork on a black t-shirt? This is our specialty. We use Simulated Process separation to break down the image into a specific set of Pantone colors (usually 6-10 colors) using halftones. The result? A vibrant, photorealistic print on dark garments.
3. CMYK Separation (4-Color Process)
Perfect for printing photographs on white or light-colored garments. We separate your image into Cyan, Magenta, Yellow, and Black channels. We carefully adjust the curves to ensure the final print doesn't look muddy.
4. Index Colour Separation
For designs that need a lot of colors but no halftones (stippled look). We convert the image into a limited color palette using diffusion dither, making it easy to print without worrying about moiré patterns.
